Overlooking the 18th fairway of Royal Troon Golf Course and enjoying panoramic views of the Firth of Clyde, across to the Isle of Arran, the Marine Hotel's immaculate staff provide a notable level of hospitality and service. The Marine Hotel, built in 1897, houses the players when Royal Troon hosts the British Open. Almost all of the 72 en-suite bedrooms have views of the golf course and sea. The hotel has an excellent health and fitness club, a golf antique shop, and boasts two restaurants, Fairway's (open just for dinner) serves award-winning cuisine, or one can eat less formally in Rizzios.
