Designed and built by a great lover of the game, Pat Ruddy, the links of the European Club (the first to be built on Ireland's east coast this century) has been ranked number 7 among Ireland's 30 Greatest Golf Courses by the Irish Golf Institute. It is also ranked number 5 among the best new courses opened in Britain and Ireland since 1992 by Golf World. This spectacular links tumbles through dunes overlooking Arklow Bay and Brittas Bay, just 40 minutes south of the Dublin suburbs.
