The most famous of golf clubs, St. Andrews proudly carries the title "The Home of Golf". Dating back to the 15th century, the Royal and Ancient Golf Club of St. Andrews was formed in 1754. Wide fairways and vast greens, which may seem forgiving but disguise a unique test of golf, characterize the Old Course and have given St. Andrews its formidable reputation.
