The Island Golf Club

This old traditional golf links was founded in 1888 and is located on Corballis Peninsula, two miles east of Donabate. In 1990, Fred Hawtree and Eddie Hackett designed changes for the course, which resulted in its present layout. The club hosted the 1990 Irish Ladies Championship and the 1998 Irish Amateur Close Championship.
