White Witch Golf Course
Winding through the mountains of Jamaica's historic 5,000-acre Rose Hall Plantation, The White Witch Golf Course is carved out of 600 acres of lush greenery and rolling countryside that features panoramic views of the Caribbean sea from 16 of its 18 holes. The 6,719-yard course plays to a par 71 and is characterized by mountainous terrain, cool tradewinds, colorful foliage and spectacular ocean views from most holes. Many holes are designed with elevated tee boxes, giving you the chance to watch your shots sail out over the beautiful surroundings.

You may find the White Witch mysterious, but there’s no mystery to finding your golf ball or lining up your shots on the course. Considered one of the finest golf courses in the Caribbean, it was named by its creators, golf course architects Robert von Hagge and Rick Baril, after the 19th century beauty, Annie Palmer, who owned the 4,000-acre sugar plantation on which the course stands.

The White Witch is no stranger to top players, as it has hosted a match between PGA Tour stars Hal Sutton and Notah Begay for Shell’s Wonderful World of Golf, as well as the 2000 World Junior Golf Championships.

The facility’s “golf concierge” program includes trained forecaddies with extensive local knowledge of the course –one of many golfer-friendly services offered by White Witch staff. And you’ll want to listen to your caddies, especially on some of the tricky blind shots.
