Premier Golf and the Ryder Cup

July 1, 2013
Ryder Cup

As the official distributor of Ryder Cup travel packages for The PGA of America, Premier Golf has offered packages to every Ryder Cup since 1991. In 2014, it will be the 12th consecutive Ryder Cup for us, and it only gets more exciting, more emotional. For those of you who have traveled with us over the years and experienced the electricity and drama of The Ryder Cup, we share some very special memories.

Over the years we’ve witnessed joyful moments as well as heartbreaking ones. We were there at the “War by the Shore” when Bernhard Langer broke under the relentless pressure at Kiawah. When Ben Crenshaw said “I have a good feeling about this…that’s all I’m gonna tell ya”, we were at Brookline, then the “Miracle at Brookline” happened when Justin Leonard rolls in a clutch putt culminating one of the greatest comebacks in sports history. We shared in the excitement at Valhalla in Louisville as American Boo Weekly galloped down the fairway ala Happy Gilmore. The Ryder cup is the most unique sporting event in the world and one of the most exciting and passionate. After all these years we’ve come to appreciate the unique feeling you get when watching both teams assemble on the first tee for their singles matches on Sunday. The relentless tension and competitive intensity you feel during that moment is why being there is the ultimate golf travel experience.

Why is the Ryder Cup so special? A big part of the Ryder cup is the patriotism and nationalism that runs wild behind the gates of the golf courses. On a typical Sunday at the Ryder cup, you’ll see everything from red, white, and blue body paint to fake beards. The passion of fans from both teams and the exciting environment create memories that last a lifetime.

Let’s WIN THE CUP BACK!

Join us as America’s “13th” man in 2014 when we venture to Gleneagles in Scotland for the 40th Ryder Cup Matches. The last two matches have been won by the Euros by just one point.

ENOUGH IS ENOUGH! It’s time for America’s young guns to break through and bring the RyderCup back to American soil. Let’s make sure there is Red, White and Blue everywhere and… Let’s WIN THE CUP BACK!
