Solmar Golf Links

A Mexico golf vacation should be a retreat for the senses, and that’s exactly what you can experience at the Grand Solmar Pacific Dunes Resort. Nestled amongst shimmering turquoise oceans and striking desert vistas, this place is like no other, whether you’re playing golf at Solmar Golf Links or watching from the sidelines.

No matter where you are at this resort, you’ll be spoiled for never-ending panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean, making for a truly relaxing getaway.

Solmar Golf Links was designed by Greg Norman and is the centerpiece of the opulent 834-acre resort. This 18-hole links-style course provides the opportunity to get strategic and challenge your play, while also ensuring you have plenty of fun on the course.

Even on an ‘off day’, the expansive ocean views from every hole will ensure your game has been eventful. Aside from Solmar Golf Links, you’ll find a swim-up bar, private beach, and infinity pool to keep you occupied outside tee time on your idyllic Cabo golf trip.

Rancho San Lucas

Greg Norman Signature Golf Course

The single course at Solmar Golf Links is called the “Greg Norman Signature Course” and is a postcard example of his design philosophy of least disturbance to the local landscape in action. The course has every bit the feel of a traditional links-style course, but showcases and makes the best use of the exotic Mexican landscape.

The course weaves through three different terrain types, including giant windswept dunes, cactus-filled desert, and beachside coastal zones. A few holes have become especially famous, including the par-3 3rd that runs along the ocean, a dramatic island-style par-3 17th, and many beach-adjacent holes with incredible Pacific views.

Pacific Links Golf in Its Purest Form

Solmar Golf Links is renowned for its traditional links style set in a unique mix of ocean front and desert terrain. The course and club sit on the Pacific side of the Sabo Can Lucas and are about 15 minutes from the nearest town hub.

Solmar Golf Links stands out as being purpose-built to be a more secluded and private experience compared to the busier resorts in Los Cabos. The club sits well away from the main tourist area and lies on a huge Pacific-front estate and follows a Spanish Colonial style, rather than flashier modern architecture.

Amenities at Grand Solmar Pacific Dunes Resort

A private beach retreat with loungers and cabanas, two adult-only infinity pools, a pool for children with a small waterpark, a clinic, and concierge services are all included in the resort.

Outdoor areas at Grand Solmar Pacific Dunes Resort include courtyards, beautiful gardens, and a romantic wedding pavilion in front of an event lawn with ocean views. Additionally, the resort’s multi-level spa offers a number of therapeutic massages and body therapies intended to enhance relaxation and restoration.

The resort’s signature eatery, La Roca, offers a global menu that includes freshly caught seafood, handcrafted bread, and other Mexican delicacies. A more relaxed outdoor alternative with a wide variety of food options and handcrafted tropical beverages is the Las Olas Poolside Bar & Grill.
