Pinehurst Resort

Regarded as the cradle of American Golf, Pinehurst has continued to shape golf’s identity by hosting champions and affirming its place as an ultimate golf getaway.

Though Pinehurst No. 2 has garnered international acclaim, the resort is not defined by one course. Boasting 10 courses, some of golf’s most legendary designers have worked to make a unique experience, adding a new dimension to each round.

Beyond the fairways, Pinehurst is a complete destination. Elegant accommodations, a historic village setting, and a leisurely pace combine to create an atmosphere deeply rooted in tradition.

This combination makes Pinehurst a destination that stands alone. At the resort, every round feels like it is part of something bigger, making it a rite of passage for those who love the game.

Pinehurst Cottages

Experience a personalized stay in the new cottages on No. 8 at Pinehurst. Designed for comfort and connection, these accommodations feature open living and dining areas, a kitchenette, 85″ televisions, billiards tables, and plenty of space to gather and entertain, with a large porch designed for relaxation.

Pinehurst No. 2

Few courses in the world have the prestige of Pinehurst No. 2. Designed by legendary architect Donald Ross, this iconic layout has become a defining test for its players.

Rather than sheer length, No. 2 challenges players with its signature greens. Approach shots demand creativity. Every hole invites strategy over power, rewarding those who think their way around the course.

Its timeless design has placed No. 2 at the center of championship golf, hosting multiple editions of the U.S. Open and U.S. Women’s Open. Playing No. 2 is more than a round. Here, you walk the same fairways as the game’s greatest.

Beyond No. 2

Pinehurst is larger than just its most famous course. There are 10 courses on the property, each with its own unique flair.

The modern courses that represent the “New Pinehurst” are No. 4 and No. 10, designed by Gil Hanse and Tom Doak, respectively. They were both reimagined recently for a rugged and seaside feel that varies from the traditional parkland layout.

Courses No. 1 and No. 3 represent the classic Pinehurst design. The timeless strategy, restored character, embodies the spirit of Donald Ross. Here, you will see a shorter and tighter layout.

Courses No. 6 – No. 9 are the “Championship Challenge” of Pinehurst. The boldness and size of the courses prove to be some of the largest tests on property. No. 6 and No. 7 will feel familiar, as with a more suburban design, as course No. 9 is a Jack Nicklaus design classic. For a more relaxed round, No. 5 is the perfect vacation round.
