Golf season at Cabot Cape Breton begins in May, with peak season running from June through September. Travelers visiting during this period will enjoy the warmest temperatures, longest hours of daylight, and the most favorable playing conditions. For those seeking the ideal combination of weather, course conditions, and overall resort experience, the summer months and early fall represent the best time to visit.
From November through April, Cabot Cape Breton enters its winter off-season, with golf operations mostly suspended due to weather conditions. During this period, the courses are closed and the resort significantly reduces operations.
Getting to Cape Brenton requires a bit more planning than the average golf trip, but it is a trip well worth the journey. Most visitors fly into Halifax Stanfield International Airport, the primary landing spot in Nova Scotia. From there, guests can rent a car and enjoy the scenic three-hour drive to Inverness.
For the most seamless arrival experience, guests can opt for private aviation service into Sydney J.A. Douglas McCurdy Airport (YQY) or Port Hastings, both located within approximately one to two hours of the resort. From there, private ground transportation can be arranged directly to Cabot Cape Breton.
