Monterey Golf Tour

The Monterey Peninsula on the central coast of California has been called “the most beautiful meeting of land and water” and consists of charming Carmel-By-The-Sea, Pebble Beach, Pacific Grove and the historic city of Monterey. Visitors will love the temperate climate, minimal rainfall, and lush green golf courses all 52 weeks of the year.

Monterey County’s Pebble Beach Golf Links course is regarded as one of the best golf courses in the country, and has hosted numerous PGA and US Open Championships. The views from the Pebble Beach course are some of the most picturesque. The resort can be accessed on the 17-Mile Drive, which takes you through Pebble Beach across the Monterey Peninsula, while allowing you to absorb views of the central California coast and the neighboring Pacific Ocean.

Besides the great golf options, there are many attractions in the vicinity such as The Monterey Aquarium, wine tasting in Carmel Valley, the scenic drive along Highway 1 to Big Sur, hundreds of galleries and shops in downtown Carmel-By-The-Sea, and Cannery Row or Fisherman’s Wharf in Old Monterey.

Monterey is famed for its small cafes and restaurants, all offering delicious fresh seafood and other famous cuisines. With the Monterey Airport just minutes away (San Jose airport is 75 min, and San Francisco Airport is over 2 hours) the Central Coast is easily accessible. On a Monterey golf tour with Premier Golf, you can be assured that every aspect of your trip will be planned meticulously and tailor-made to suit your standards and expectations. We can recommend the best courses to test your golfing ability, as well as where to go during a golfing break in Monterey, to make sure you live the true California lifestyle.

“Whereas the golf is plentiful around The Monterey Peninsula, allow yourself enough time après golf to walk around Carmel and Carmel Beach (½ day) and drive south on Highway 1 towards Big Sur (min 2 hours).

You’ll want your camera because this is some of the most beautiful scenery in the United States.”
