Here are the exciting courses where you’ll tee up:

Marbella Club Golf Resort—Magnificent views of mountains and the Mediterranean make this course a spectacular golf experience. The contoured fairways are framed by a wide variety of trees, including oak, pine, cork and olive, and wildflowers provide additional beauty. Designed by Dave Thomas, the architect for The Belfry, venue of the 2002 Ryder Cup, the Marbella Club course has a wonderful mix of holes accented by waterfalls and lakes.

La Reserva Club de Golf—Located near other exceptional layouts like Valderrama, Sotogrande and San Roque, La Reserva is set within two valleys. Designed by American architect Cabell B. Robinson and opened in 2004, La Reserva is a lengthy layout with wide fairways where you can grip it and rip it of the tee. There are water features on six holes, but only one of them is a cross hazard. The greens are large and well maintained.

Real Club de Golf Sotogrande—A legendary layout on the Costa del Sol that opened more than 40 years ago, it was Robert Trent Jones’ first European course design. Framing the fairways is a mix of eucalyptus, pine, oak and palm trees, which will gobble up shots if you’re wayward off the tee. Golfers rave about the putting surfaces, which are contoured and well maintained making them fast and true.

Real Club Valderrama—Regarded by many golf publications and websites as the number one golf course in Continental Europe, Valderrama is well known as the site of the 1997 Ryder Cup matches. Dubbed “the Augusta of Europe”, Valderrama is an elite private members club accessible only to a few lucky visitors. There are only a limited number of rounds played so the course is always in fantastic condition. The immaculate Valderrama is set on a hill above the beautiful Andalucian village of Sotogrande.

Finca Cortesin Golf Club—Host to the Volvo World Match Play Championship for three years, this highly ranked course is tournament worthy and stunningly scenic. Designed by Cabell Robinson, the course is challenging with more than 100 bunkers and it blends harmoniously into the Mediterranean terrain with innovative landscaping by Gerald Huggan. The course is visually appealing with its colorful flowers, Mediterranean forest and lush green Bermuda grass. Augusta National-like maintenance standards and attention to detail make it one of the most photogenic in continental Europe.

Spain is calling you in 2017. Here’s a great opportunity to fully enjoy the country while you play its great courses and enjoy its wonderful cuisine, wine, beaches and sights.
