The new deluxe guestrooms, designed by Ivanka Trump in cooperation with WATG’s Wimberly Interiors, exude international sophistication with elegant neutral colors accented with mahogany veneers and gold-leaf Spanish revival details. Furnishings and details include classic herringbone and geometric patterns and walls dotted with vintage photos of golf legends.
The Blue Monster - One of the world’s most famous resort courses, this layout was made tougher, significantly longer and more dramatic in 2014 thanks to the vision of Donald J. Trump and golf course architect Gil Hanse. Designer of the 2016 Olympic Course, Castle Stuart in Scotland and Boston Golf Club, Hanse is renowned for his attention to detail and hands-on approach. At the Blue Monster, home to the World Golf Championships-Cadillac Championship, he meticulously re-sculpted every hole on the 7,590-yard course. The amazing transformation features strategically placed deep bunkers, long flowing fairways, undulating greens, deep Bermuda rough and an assortment of water hazards. You’ll absolutely love playing the famous super-challenging 18th hole with water framing the left side just waiting to gobble up your tee shot.
The Golden Palm - Opened in 1967, this course was improved by Gil Hanse to give it more character and make it more playable. While it has several wide-open vistas, most of the fairways are tree-lined and relatively tight. In an Australian style, Hanse added heavy rough around the back of each bunker to increase the challenge. Each round finishes on a high note with the island green on the 18th hole.
The Red Tiger - The Trump Organization dramatically changed and restored this course in its enhancement program. Re-designed by Gil Hanse, the Red Tiger has gently contoured fairways and smallish greens demanding pinpoint approach shots.
The Silver Fox - Water, water, everywhere is an apt description of this challenging layout. Water comes into play on 16 of 18 holes. While there are only 50 bunkers on the course, they stand out with their striking, marble-white sand. Visually appealing, the course has relatively narrow landing areas requiring accuracy off the tee and patience and strategy on the true and fast greens.
