Nestled at the foothills of the Sierra Bermeja Mountains, this highly regarded course designed by Tony Jacklin and Dave Thomas opened for play in 1990. At the time, it was reported that each hole cost about $1 million to build. Its undulations and elevation changes encourage a sound strategy on every hole. The front nine weaves through forests of cork oak, water hazards and bunkers that were designed by Seve Ballesteros. The back nine is a bit tamer, but deep ravines provide sufficient challenge. Along the way, you’ll enjoy wonderful views of mountains in the distance.
