Fantastic wines, sumptuous pastas and ancient sites will be a few of the off-the-course draws for spectators attending the 2022 Ryder Cup.

The European Tour recently announced the Marco Simone Golf & Country Club, 11 miles northeast of central Rome, will be the host site for Ryder Cup 2022. Designed by Jim Fazio, the Marco Simone Golf & CC, which hosted the 1994 Italian Open, will undergo an extensive enhancement program prior to the Ryder Cup matches.

Situated on rolling Roman countryside, the Marco Simone complex has 27 holes of golf and a stunning view of the St. Peter’s Basilica dome in the distance. Ryder Cup 2016 will be staged at Hazeltine National Golf Club near Minneapolis, Minnesota. In 2018, Le Golf National near Paris, France will serve as the Ryder Cup site and Whistling Straits in Wisconsin will host the matches in Sheboygan, Wisconsin in 2020.
