Crafted by Pete Dye, Teeth of the Dog is the signature course of the Caribbean’s Casa de Campo. The track is set along the coast–providing breathtaking views. With its narrow fairways and sharp cliffsides that run along the Caribbean Sea, players will experience a challenging but stunning round.
Dye was famous for testing his players. The course is built around its natural beauty, presenting thin fairways and greens set atop the sea. Teeth of the Dog’s cliffsides, which resemble a canine’s bite, make players prioritize precision over power in their game.
Casa de Campo is ideal for those looking for a getaway, offering a 7,000-acre resort that allows you to experience the exclusivity and serenity of the region. Relax and grab a drink at the Minitas Beach Club, or enjoy the treatments of The Spa at Casa de Campo. For adventure, spend an afternoon horseback riding or skeet shooting before dinner at any of the first-class restaurants. Private carts are included for guests so you can travel from experience to experience with ease.
After undergoing maintenance in 2025, Teeth of the Dog golf course will reopen, featuring upgraded greens and resurfaced fairways. These improvements ensure Teeth of the Dog’s status as one of the premier golf courses in the Caribbean, while preserving Dye’s vision and the course for decades to come.
Teeth of the Dog is a risk-reward course. Multiple holes will require shots across water. A total of 7 of the holes run alongside the sea, while the rest of the course gives a traditional parkland experience.
