From legendary Ryder Cup venues to modern masterpieces, here are our top-three picks for exploring the finest golf experiences in Europe:

Real Club Valderrama Golf, Spain

A Robert Trent Jones Sr. masterpiece, Valderrama is widely regarded as the jewel of Spanish golf. Its signature 17th hole, with an elevated green framed by water and ancient cork trees, epitomizes the course’s beauty and difficulty. Impeccably conditioned year-round, this Andalusian icon is a must-play.

Monte Rei Golf & Country Club, Portugal

Set in the Eastern Algarve foothills, Jack Nicklaus’s first Portuguese design offers panoramic views, dramatic elevation changes, and flawless conditioning. Consistently ranked among the best golf courses in Europe, Monte Rei Golf and Country Club delivers both challenge and serenity in equal measure.

Costa Navarino Dunes Course, Greece

Designed by Bernhard Langer, the Dunes Course showcases Greece’s rise as a premier golf destination. Routed along the Mediterranean through ancient olive groves, the course blends links-style elements with dramatic natural features. Pot bunkers, undulating greens, and sea views create an unforgettable round.

European Golf Landscapes & Settings

Few places in the world offer the golfing variety of Europe. Imagine standing on dramatic cliff-top fairways overlooking the Atlantic in Portugal and Spain, or navigating rolling parkland that winds through French châteaux regions and Italian vineyard estates.

In Italy’s Como region, pristine lakeside courses are framed by the snow-capped Alps, while in Greece, fairways cut through ancient olive groves with sweeping Mediterranean views. England’s historic Surrey sandbelt adds yet another dimension, with classic heathland courses steeped in tradition. These diverse landscapes don’t just provide stunning backdrops, they elevate every round into a truly unique and memorable experience.

“Located between Lisbon and the Algarve, Dunas Comporta is a stunning par-71 course designed by David McLay Kidd. Opened in 2023, it’s already a bucket-list destination for golfers worldwide. Set against a breathtaking natural backdrop, this unforgettable course offers a truly inspiring round – well worth the journey off the beaten path.”

What our customers say

Spain was terrific!

The Don Pepe Hotel was wonderful in so many ways…the breakfast buffet was huge with omelets made to order, fresh fruit, cheeses, etc. Our welcome dinner the 1st night was great. The hotel swimming pool with plenty of lounge chairs was wonderful. The location next to the “boardwalk” with dining nearby was great. I tried several of the restaurants at the hotel and had tasty meals at each one.  The golf courses we played were nice and in good condition, but lots of uphill and downhill climbing even with carts. I never realized Southern Spain was soooo hilly.

Portugal exceeded our expectations!

We knew the weather and food was going to be great, but we were most pleasantly surprised with the nice courses we played each day around Lisbon. Our favorite was Dunas, but Oitavos Dunes, West Cliffs and Penha Longa were close seconds. Because we are getting older, having carts each day was a treat also. We are planning to go back in 2025 and add in The Algarve and stay longer next time. Thank you Premier Golf for the arrangements – you made it easy for us!
