What Defines Golf at Quivira Golf Club

Quivira is considered to be one of the most scenic coastal golf sites in Mexico, thanks to the granite cliffs and dunes that dot the local area. Jack Nicklaus took full advantage of Mother Nature’s design prowess when creating the course layout, and the result is a perfect marriage of orderly golf course construction and unbelievable natural scenery.

Another point in Quivira’s favour is the excellent amenities. The course has bars and refreshment points built in throughout, including the Oasis and the Clifftop bar, which allow guests to enjoy food or take in the scenery, all included as part of the green fee.

The Course at Quivira Golf Club

Quivira Golf Course is a masterclass in coastal architecture. Jack Nicklaus intentionally designed the course to challenge players in three different environments within the same course (deserts, dunes, and cliffs). The course starts at sea level but climbs up mountain switchbacks to the highest elevations in the area.

As befitting a coastal course, the sea breeze is a constant challenge and will require players to be thoughtful with club selection. Some of the more standout and trickier holes are settled along the granite cliffs, with the par-4 6th being a particular standout.
