Founded in 1780 when it was named the ‘Society of Aberdeen Golfers’, Royal Aberdeen Golf Course in Scotland is recognized as the 6th oldest golf club in the world. It became the Aberdeen Golf Club in 1815, then in 1888 it moved to its current site on the Links at Balgownie.
Trump Golf Course in Scotland is located on the Menie Estate, which is considered a Site of Special Scientific Interest. As such, the proposed course and resort were very controversial, and the development went through several planning applications before it was approved.
Aberdeen is a true golfer’s haven, offering world-class courses alongside plenty of experiences beyond the fairways. Its unique blend of championship links golf and rich Scottish culture gives visitors the opportunity to fully immerse themselves in a vibrant local atmosphere.
